Job Description
Title:
LVN - Outpatient Urology Clinic
Requirements:
- Active California LVN license
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- IV certification
- Phlebotomy certification
- Minimum 2 years outpatient clinic experience
- Previous urology experience preferred
- Epic experience required
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Room patients and update medical histories and medications.
- Manage referrals and assist with basic outpatient procedures.
- Perform vital signs, medication reconciliation, and pain assessments.
- Instruct patients on clean catch urine collection.
- Administer IM and SQ injections as needed.
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 120 hours.
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated.
- Pre-approved time off: one request.
