Structure,support, and collaborative responsibilities
The Nurse Manager of Operating Room Surgery Services will report to the Director of Perioperative Services in close collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer, surgical service line leaders, anesthesia, sterile processing, and materials management. With assistant nurse managers, experienced charge RNs, a perioperative educator, informatics resources, and business analytics partners, the Nurse Manager of Operating Room Perioperative Services will steer 24/7 operations, optimize block scheduling and OR throughput, elevate patient and staff safety, champion infection prevention, and drive quality metrics, accreditation compliance, budget stewardship, and staff development.
