Registered Nurse II, Cardiology

Position: Registered Nurse II, Cardiology - 8hr, Days
** Job Description*
* A Clinical Nurse II (CN II) is a competent clinician who provides nursing care in a skilled and effective manner in an ambulatory setting. A CNII Independently prioritizes & delivers dependable and effective patient care in a variety of patient situations using appropriate decision-making skills. A CNII exhibits competence in the technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to independently and safely manage routine patient assignment.

Nursing care is delivered using standards of care by following approved policies and procedures.

* + Associate's Degree in Nursing required

+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

** Work Experience*
* + 1 year Relevant ambulatory or acute care experience in the area of specialty required

+ 1 year Cardiology Dept - Cardiac nursing (inpatient or outpatient setting) required

** Licenses & Certifications*
* + Valid CA RN license required

+ Basic Life Support certification required

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
