CA Licensed Vocational Nurse – Outpatient

8-hour shifts between 08:00–20:00, possibly 1 weekend per month to assist with urgent care as needed.

Daily census reported at 350 patients.

• Minimum 2 years experience in an outpatient setting.
• Active CA LVN license at the time of submission.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• IV certification.
• Phlebotomy/blood withdrawal certification.
• References: 2 supervisor-level references from the past 1 year required at submission.

• Support physician and nursing staff with patient intake and assessments.
• Take and document vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with routine outpatient procedures.
• Administer medications and IVs, including starts and maintenance.
• Perform phlebotomy and wound care.
• Obtain EKGs and administer basic assessments.

Orientation includes 160 hours of training; modules to be completed prior to start. Background checks may apply, and any license or background issues require a detailed written statement. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
