Start with a 5‑week paid training program. Earn a $0.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Continue growth through the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1.00 per hour and potential promotions to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader). Success can lead to an Assistant Manager position with a 6‑month training program and store‑ownership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting in person and on the phone.
- Processing sales, loans, and extensions.
- Performing opening and closing store duties.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Successful conclusion of a criminal background check and drug test.
- Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items (e.g., tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus.
- Sales background and bilingual language skills are a plus.
