Role Overview
Fashion Nova is building a world-class engineering team to power our next phase of growth. We’re investing heavily in scalable, high-impact technology platforms—and we’re looking for a Mobile Software Engineer with strong React Native experience to help bring them to life.
In this role, you’ll design and build high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android
, collaborating closely with product, design, and platform teams. You’ll play a key role in shaping our mobile architecture, delivering polished user experiences, and contributing to a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.
- Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across iOS and Android
- Architect and develop reusable, scalable UI components
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
- Write clean, well-documented code and maintain automated test coverage
- Partner with product and design to deliver innovative mobile experiences
- Engage with the open-source community to help improve mission-critical tooling (React Native moves fast!)
- 3+ years of experience with React and/or React Native
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building testable, maintainable codebases and APIs
- Solid understanding of third-party dependencies and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, Cocoa Pods)
- Experience with automated testing (Jest, Appium, Playwright)
- Knowledge of mobile performance, memory management, and multithreading
- Experience with Shopify APIs

, Firebase - Exposure to Swift and/or Kotlin
- App Store and Google Play publishing experience
- CI/CD pipelines, Sauce Labs, or mobile automation infrastructure
