The Special Education ASD Classroom Paraprofessional assists teachers and other school personnel in delivering quality education and support services for students across various classroom settings. Duties vary based on student needs, ranging from physical assistance and care to behavior management and academic support. This is a full‑time, 10‑month position for the 2026‑27 school year.

• 60 semester hours of college credit or an associate's degree preferred; or
• Met a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrated through a formal state or local academic assessment;
• Knowledge of, and ability to assist in, instructing reading, writing, and mathematics; or
• Knowledge of, and ability to assist in, instructing reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate;
• Certification or ability to obtain and be trained in crisis management and safe physical intervention such as CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute).
