POSITION BEGINS:

WHAT WE NEED:

• 1. Valid State Teacher Certification Granted by the Professional Teaching Standards Board.
• 2. Bachelor's Degree
• 3. Evidence of ability to establish working relationships that result in mutual respect.
• 4. Ability to speak clearly and concisely, both in oral and written communication.
• 5. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 1. Works cooperatively with administrators, student services personnel, and teachers.
• 2. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.
• 3. Provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of eachpupil, to the extent feasible.
• 4. Work with othermusicteachers in the school system toensurea continuous and correlated development through all levels of instruction
• 5. Publish and distribute a calendar ofMusic
  
  Events that coordinate with all other school events.
• 6. Maintains control of storage and use of school-owned property.
• 7. Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district, and/or inself-selected professional growth activities.
• 8. Communicates with parents and school counselors on pupil progress.
• 9. Participates in curriculum and other developmental programs.
• 10. Work with the principal in preparing a program budget.
• 11. Other duties as related to this specific job.
