Position Summary
The Accounting Specialist will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including accounts payable, billing, collections, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities- Provide timely and accurate payment processing by processing accounts payable checks/ACH as needed.
- Input credits and debits to the accounting system in support of the payables work.
- Develop and maintain reports and files on the Accounts Payable processing.
- Input general ledger entries for accounting activity.
- Develop and maintain reports and files on asset and liability account balances.
- Support month-end close processes.
- Assist in streamlining accounting processes across all business units.
- Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Ad hoc analysis as needed.
- In pursuit of Accounting/Finance degree.
- Solid Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to take instructions from others.
- Comfortable asking questions.
- Good attendance and work ethic.
Supervision exercised: none. Supervision received:
Senior Director, Controller.
Salary: $15.00-$20.00 Hourly for US job seekers.
