City of Beverly is seeking a City Accountant (35hrs/wk) to lead the Accounting office, maintain financial records and ensure compliance with Massachusetts General Laws. The role supervises staff, prepares financial reports, and reconciles accounts across multiple funds.
Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent senior experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and a proven ability to manage budgets, internal controls, and coordination with the Finance Director and other departments.
