Job Description
Collins Insurance Group LLC is seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Personal Assistant to work directly with the agency owner at our Beverly office.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety and can help keep the owner's day and the office running smoothly. The position includes answering phone calls, handling administrative tasks, assisting with scheduling, running local errands, and taking care of other day-to-day tasks as they arise.
This is not an insurance sales position, and insurance experience is not required. We're looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently.

- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Take messages and assist with basic customer requests
- Manage scheduling, appointments, reminders, and calendar items
- Run local business and personal errands as needed
- Pick up and drop off documents, supplies, mail, and other items
Assist with emails and basic correspondence - Scan, print, organize, and prepare documents
- Maintain files and keep paperwork organized
- Order and pick up office supplies
- Coordinate appointments, deliveries, and vendors
- Help keep the office organized and operating smoothly
- Assist the agency owner with day-to-day tasks and priorities
- Handle confidential business and personal information professionally
- Complete other miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent attendance
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional and comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision
- Comfortable running local errands during the workday
- Basic computer skills, including email and common office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt when priorities change
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately
- Professional, positive, and willing to take initiative
- Must be able to work in person at our Beverly, MA office
- High school diploma or equivalent
No insurance experience or insurance license required. Previous administrative, receptionist, personal assistant, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
