Telecommunications Operator

Beth Israel Lahey Health -  - Responsibilities:
Answer, evaluate and route incoming calls to the Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals, Lahey Outpatient Center in Danvers and associated medical offices;
Answer the hospital emergency code phone and follow written procedure including sending page messages to the code team;
Document specific patient and required information into the hospital code record;
Utilize the two way radio communication system to keep the hospital security team up to date with emergency situations;
Monitor safety/security alarms for inpatient and the emergency departments, operating room gases and fire alarm system for Addison Gilbert Hospital
