Role DescriptionThe Field Manager – Production Department is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Beverly, MA. This role oversees day‑to‑day field operations for installation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Coastal Windows & Exteriors’ quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising installation crews, managing daily job schedules, and verifying that materials, tools, and permits are ready for each project.
The Field Manager regularly visits job sites to inspect work, resolve issues, support crews, and maintain clear communication with customers about timelines and progress. The role also involves collaborating with the production, sales, and customer service teams, tracking project status, documenting work, and contributing to continuous improvement in processes, safety, and customer experience.
- Proven experience in field management, construction, or home improvement project supervision, preferably in windows, doors, siding, or roofing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate, guide, and motivate multiple installation crews in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid understanding of construction safety practices, building codes, and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers, installers, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and time‑management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Competence in basic digital tools and software for scheduling, documentation, and reporting (e.g., email, spreadsheets, project management or CRM systems).
- Problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess field issues quickly and implement effective, practical solutions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily site visits in and around Beverly, MA.
- Ability to work on‑site, including regular visits to active job sites and occasional evening or weekend hours as project needs require.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in construction management or related fields are a plus.
