Objective:

TheMEPCoordinatorisresponsibleforthecoordination,oversight,andmanagementofallmechanical,electrical,plumbing,andfireprotection(MEP/FP) systemsacrossavarietyofconstructionprojects.

Thisroleensuressystemsaredesigned,coordinated,andinstalledinalignmentwithprojectspecifications,quality standards,and schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewconstructiondrawingsandprovidefeedbackrelatedtoconstructability,valueengineeringopportunities,incompletescope,anddimensionalconflictstoproactivelyidentifypotentialissues.
• Developandreviewprojectestimatesandbudgets,ensuringallMEP/FPcomponentsarecapturedinaccordancewithplansandspecifications.
• CommunicatewithMEP/FPtradepartnerstoensureaccurateandcompletebidsubmissions.
• Collaboratewiththeestimatingteamtoevaluateandselecttradepartnersbasedoncost,qualifications,andabilitytoperformtherequiredscopeofwork.
• Participateinpre-mobilizationmeetingswithtradepartnerstoreviewscopeandconfirmallprojectrequirementsareclearlyunderstoodandincorporated.
• BuildandmaintainstrongworkingrelationshipswithMEP/FPtradepartnerforemenandfieldteams.
• Coordinatewiththeonsite Superintendenttoconductinspectionsofinstalledworkandgeneratedetailedqualitycontrolreports.
• Distributequalitycontrolreportstothe
  
  DirectorofMEPServices,Project Manager,Project Superintendent,andrelevanttradepartners.
• Developandimplementremediationplanswithtradepartnerstoaddressnonconformingwork,equipmentdeficiencies,ordeviationsfromprojectspecifications.
• Coordinatefollow-upinspectionswiththe
  
  Superintendenttoensureresolutionofnonconformanceissues.
• CollaboratewithMEP/FPtradepartnersandVDCteamstodevelopclash-freeBIMmodelswhenrequired;scheduleandleadcoordinationmeetingsthroughouttheprocess.
• Supportsystemstartupandcommissioningactivitiesincoordinationwithprojectteamsandtradepartners.
• Workcloselywithcommissioningagentstoensureallsystemsarefullyoperationalandmeetdesignrequirementspriortoprojectcompletion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’sdegreein
  
  Mechanical
  
  Engineeringoraminimumof5+yearsofexperienceinthecommercialconstructionindustrywithafocusonMEP/FPsystems.
• Proficiencyinconstructionmanagementsoftwaresuchas Procore,Bluebeam,Navisworks,BIMplatforms,andAutodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Strongcomputerskills,including
  
  Microsoft Office Suite .
• Demonstrated leadership,collaboration,andinterpersonalskills.
