Architectural Designer

Vance Stein Architecture & Interiors is seeking an Architectural Designer who will join us as we grow and expand our practice across multiple sectors. Our mission is to listen to our clients and create timeless designs that are an integral part of their communities. We are a fun, collaborative office in Beverly, MA. • Working collaboratively with VS Principals and Project Managers, serve as an Architectural Designer and drafter for projects ranging in size and type, with a focus on multi-family, commercial, institutional and high-end residential work.
• Prepare schematic design, design development and construction document drawings
• Code research
• Graphic presentations
• Field measuring

• Strong design sense and familiarity with all phases of design
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, Autocad and Sketch Up experience beneficial
• Excellent organization, attention-to-detail, and oral/written communication skills
• Familiarity with drawing and coordinating permit and construction documents
• Flexibility in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Creative problem-solving
• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
• Be a strong team player who is genuinely able to work collaboratively.
• Have well-developed strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Engage in design studies, digital modeling, product, and material research.

• 1-5 years of architectural work experience
• High-end residential, Multi-family and institutional design experience preferred
• Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree
