The SSP program serves students with emotional and behavioral needs who require individualized instruction across all academic areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop positive relationships with young people and work well with school staff.
• General understanding of how children learn and the social and emotional needs of children.
• Under supervision of a certified teacher, prepare for classroom instructional events and other educational or non‑educational activities.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus loading/unloading, cleanup, and play periods.
• Escort and supervise movement of students throughout the school.
• Participate in professional development activities appropriate to district expectations.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
