Anticipated STEM/ Robotics Teacher

Beverly Middle School (Beverly Public Schools) is hiring a STEM/Robotics teacher for grades 5-8. The position starts on August 24, 2026 and is full‑time.

• Develop and deliver STEM curricula for middle school students.
• Plan daily lessons and adopt a data‑driven approach to measure student progress.
• Create engaging, hands‑on learning activities and materials.
• Attend to individual student needs and provide extra support.
• Demonstrate awareness of diverse student backgrounds and cultures.
• Communicate regularly with parents and provide regular feedback.
• Use learner data to continuously refine the curriculum and monitor student growth.

Compensation is set in accordance with the Beverly Teachers Association Unit A collective bargaining agreement and commensurate with experience and education.
Position Type: Full‑time.

• Proper DESE Certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Bachelor degree preferred).
• State teaching license in the relevant field.
• Knowledge of STEM best practices.
• Empathy and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with basic computer software such as Word and Excel.
• Experience working with children and adolescents; previous STEM teaching experience is advantageous.
• Good classroom management and teamwork abilities.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
