** The School of Visual and Performing Arts is currently seeking individuals to teach the Contemporary/Modern Dance course with expertise teaching Graham and Horton techniques, integrating foundational principles of Laban notation and improvisational tools into contemporary dance training. The professor should demonstrate a strong understanding of contemporary and modern dance practitioners, methodologies, and movement forms, fostering both technical proficiency and creative exploration in students.

****** DAN 211-01 - MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY DANCE AESTHETICS - 1 cr
**** M | 5:30 PM - 7:20 PM
**** DAN 211-02 - MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY DANCE AESTHETICS - 1 cr
**** M | 3:30 PM - 5:20 PM
****** COMPENSATION PER COURSE:
****** Payment for each course is $1,100.
**** All courses meet in person.
**** Each section meets for 1 hr and 50 minutes a week.
**** Instructors are expected to:**
* ** Deliver the course(s) in person or online in their assigned time blocks.**
* ** Abide by Endicott’s academic policies as described in the College’s faculty handbook.**
* ** Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course.**
* ** Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.**
* ** Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.**
* ** Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes.**
* ** Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter, if requested.**
* ** Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.**
* ** Use the Endicott email when communicating with students outside of class.

* Qualifications:
A minimum of a Master’s degree is required, and college-level teaching experience is preferred.*
