Description

Do you love working with youth and want to make a positive impact in your community? Join us at the brand-new McPherson Youth Center!

We're looking for caring, energetic team members to help create a safe and engaging space for teens after school. The Youth Center offers a place to hang out, play games, use the computer lab, join programs, and build connections.

Schedule
  • Tuesdays from 3:00 PM–8:00 PM & Saturdays from 3 PM - 9 PM

  • Summer & school vacation weeks include extended hours

  • Flexible scheduling available (2–3 days per week)

What You'll Do
  • Support and supervise youth in a fun, welcoming environment.

  • Build positive relationships and encourage skill-building.

  • Model leadership, communication, and respectful behavior.

What You Bring
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.

  • Experience working with youth in recreation, camp, or group settings.

  • A positive attitude and desire to help teens learn and grow.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21+ years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or a degree related to youth development preferred

  • Experience working with teens or youth programs

  • Strong judgment and ability to respond appropriately to teen behaviors

  • Works well with teens and fosters a positive, supportive environment
