By collaborating closely with both the sales team, product marketing and engineering departments, the Field Application Engineer helps drive successful product integration and fosters long-term customer relationships.
Essential Functions:
* Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations to promote the company's interconnect solutions to prospective and existing customers
* Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) support by collaborating with customers during the design phase to ensure optimal product integration and performance
* Support a diverse portfolio of strategic key accounts across the United States, with travel commitments ranging from 25% to 30%
* Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills /
Qualifications:
* 3+ years marketing experience
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Strong technical aptitude and/or engineering degree
* Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Strong time management, urgency, and follow-through capabilities
* Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Skills/
Qualifications:
* Experience with rotating assemblies, rotary joints or slip rings
* Exposure to RF, fiber optics and wave guides
Required
Education:
* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent relevant work experience.
