** About the Role
** As a
** Manufacturing Test Development Engineer Co-op**, you will gain hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting test equipment used in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure products meet quality, performance, and reliability standards. This role provides exposure to real-world engineering challenges, including the design, development, and validation of electrical and mechanical test solutions, fixture design, and hardware-level debugging of test systems.

Through this experience, you will develop practical engineering skills, learn how testing integrates into large-scale manufacturing, and contribute directly to improving efficiency and product quality. Design, develop, build, validate, and maintain electrical and mechanical manufacturing test solutions, including automated test equipment and custom test fixtures

Leverage manual, subtractive, and additive manufacturing tools and techniques to meet fixture design and performance requirements Collaborate with manufacturing, design, process, and quality engineering teams to meet fixture design requirements of all shareholders

Applicants must be candidates for a Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following fields:
Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar programs.

Familiarity with modeling software such as Solid Works/Creo or AutoCADFamiliarity with schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, QElectro Tech Familiarity  with fabrication tools such as calipers, hand tools, 3d printing, etc.

Familiarity with measurement tools and equipment such as DMM’s, Oscilloscopes, Data acquisition systems (DAQ), etc.

Experience with project management tools such as Gantt charts, Microsoft Project/Planner, etc.
