We are seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain technical documentation for advanced manufacturing and semiconductor equipment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled technical communicator who can transform complex engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, edit, and maintain operating manuals, installation guides, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting documentation, and product upgrade instructions.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and technical teams to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Translate complex mechanical, process, and equipment-related information into easy-to-understand documentation.
- Create and update technical illustrations and visual work instructions using CAD visualization tools.
- Revise documentation to support engineering changes, product enhancements, and compliance requirements.
- Support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives by delivering high-quality documentation on schedule.
- Manage multiple documentation projects while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Experience creating technical documentation for manufacturing equipment, industrial machinery, semiconductor systems, or other complex technical products.
- Proficiency with Adobe Frame Maker, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Creative Suite, and content management systems.
- Experience using Creo View or similar 3D CAD visualization software.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and technical teams.
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of document control processes, engineering change orders (ECOs), revision control, and technical documentation standards.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with technical subject matter experts.
