Advantage Technical is partnering with a leading precision motion control manufacturer in Beverly, MA to place an Electromechanical Design Engineer ready to take products from concept through production. If you design with manufacturing in mind and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this role delivers.

What You'll Do (Job Duties)

• Design, develop, and document electromechanical systems of varied complexity from concept through production, including manufacturing and customer drawings
• Integrate industrial components including actuators, motors, gears, bearings, sensors, connectors, servo drives, and controllers
• Perform analysis, troubleshooting, and testing at component and system levels for products in development and production
• Create test and assembly procedures and reports to ensure customer requirements are met
• Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing to source vendors, create BOMs in ERP, and maintain assembly drawings
• Manage and prioritize multiple engineering projects simultaneously

What You Bring (Qualifications and Requirements)

• Electrical and/or mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment including electromechanical system integration
• Proficiency in Solid Works with working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing/inspection capabilities
• Strong understanding of power transmission products including gears, motors, encoders, and servo drives
• Familiarity with engineering documentation control practices
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• PCBA development and robotics/automated machinery experience
• Experience with electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters)
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly experience including soldering and crimping
• Programming skills in Python or LabVIEW and servo drive commissioning experience
