Medical Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support providers in delivering high-quality care by performing both clinical and administrative tasks in a family medicine setting. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilitie
s

• Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Record vital signs, patient histories, and chief complaints accurately.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure necessary supplies and equipment are stocked.
• Administer injections and perform basic laboratory tests as permitted.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage patient flow.
• Document all interactions and procedures in the electronic medical record system.
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as directed by the provider.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
• Prior experience in a family medicine or primary care setting.
• Experience using Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – preferred or required depending on employer policy.
