Manager, Diagnostic Imaging

• Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of the Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospital and BILHCC-Danvers Radiology departments
• Ensure appropriate and efficient staffing, including hiring, counseling, and employee evaluations
• Develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures in collaboration with hospital leadership and according to Hospital, State, Federal, Joint Commission, and ACR guidelines
• Conduct staff meetings and daily rounds
• Provide oversight of the Radiologic Technologist student program
• Attend hospital meetings and participate on committees
• Establish, develop measures for, and report on performance improvement and quality control initiatives
• Review Press Ganey results and identify improvement opportunities
• Monitor staff and patient schedules for appropriate staffing and efficiency
• Process payroll in Kronos
• Run reports to measure and improve performance
• Develop and monitor budgets, including monthly financials, productivity and FTE reports, variance reporting, and budget targets
• Keep the Administrative Director informed of activities and operational concerns
• Maintain hospital safety guidelines
• Research and advise on existing and new technologies
• Develop equipment replacement business plans and collaborate with Clinical Engineering, Facilities, and Imaging Informatics
• Obtain ACR accreditation and re-accreditation for various modalities
• Work on special projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration or similar is strongly desired
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation control license or be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and proficiency in computer operations and hospital information technology applications, including spreadsheets, PowerPoint, electronic medical records, HR, contract and finance management systems
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a hospital or health care setting is required
• Strong knowledge of radiology department operations, salary and supply budgets, and radiology regulations

Demonstrates strong leadership in overseeing hospital operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing budgets. Proficient in staff management, performance improvement initiatives, and the implementation of hospital policies and procedures.
