Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager
King & Bishop is hiring on behalf of our client for an HR Generalist to support a dynamic and fast-paced organization. This fully onsite role offers the opportunity to work within an innovative, mission-driven environment where payroll operations and strategic HR partnership intersect. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable balancing payroll responsibilities with broader HR functions that support employee experience, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
Job ResponsibilitiesProcess bi-weekly payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain accurate payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
Prepare payroll-related reports for internal stakeholders
Manage payroll taxes, deductions, and benefit contributions accurately and on schedule
Support recruitment processes, including onboarding activities
Serve as a resource for employee questions and provide HR guidance when appropriate
Conduct exit interviews and assist with employee relations initiatives
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and documentation
Collaborate with external vendors to support benefit enrollment and changes
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
Support HR audits and reporting requirements
Assist with onboarding training and development initiatives
Maintain HR systems, databases, and confidential employee records
Generate HR metrics and reporting as needed
Support implementation and coordination of HR programs and initiatives
Assist with employee engagement and wellness programs
Participate in continuous improvement of HR processes
Perform additional duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 2 years of HR experience
Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with UKG Auto Time and ADP Vantage preferred
Must be available to work 100% onsite
U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance
