Position Summary
Montserrat College of Art is seeking a part‑time IT Operations & Systems Support Assistant to support core technology operations during the summer. This role focuses on improving the accuracy, organization, and reliability of IT systems across campus.
Schedule:15–20 hrs/week
Dates:June–August 2026 (flexible)
Extension:Potential continuation into Fall based on performance
Location:Beverly, MA
Reports to:Director of IT
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and validate device inventory (Mac/Windows)
- Audit printers and build campus map
- Support device lifecycle cleanup and reassignment
- Assist with identity/group organization
- Create documentation and knowledge base content
- Support endpoint systems (Jamf, PDQ)
- Contribute to structured IT projects
Required: Strong attention to detail, organization, basic computer skills, ability to work independently
Preferred: Interest in IT, spreadsheets, networking basics, prior help desk experience
What You’ll Learn & Gain- Hands‑on experience with real‑world IT operations
- Exposure to endpoint management (Windows/macOS)
- Understanding of identity and access concepts
- Skills in documentation and process improvement
- Experience contributing to operational improvements
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance

- Ask questions and provide updates on assigned work
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
