Under close supervision from department supervisors or lead persons, this entry-level position provides daily cleaning of assigned work areas as defined by a work schedule. Employees are also responsible for handling emergency calls for cleaning issues, such as spills or refilling supplies.

Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cleans assigned areas using the 7-step cleaning procedure: high dusting, dry mopping floors, damp wiping all horizontal surfaces, spot cleaning walls, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash and replacing liners, wet mopping floors, and self-inspecting work.
• Uses proper cleaning chemicals, avoiding mixing or mislabeling chemicals.
• Responds promptly to emergency cleaning requests.
• Moves furniture, relocates beds, and stocks supplies as directed.
• Follows fire safety protocols and is aware of Right to Know information.
• Completes all tasks timely and maintains a positive attitude.

Education:

No minimum required.
Skills & Knowledge:
Entry level; skills learned on the job. English communication skills required.

Experience:

None.
