Axcelis Technologies is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to support our Facilities Department in the daily operation and maintenance of Axcelis’ principal manufacturing and warehousing sites. This position focuses on environmental, health and safety programs at our semiconductor equipment manufacturing facilities in Beverly, MA.

• Maintain and repair facility structure, equipment, and grounds.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, and floor repairs.
• Inspect and repair roofing systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance: filter changes, daily inspections, building and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain equipment logs and complete PM and daily work order requests in a CMMS.
• Repair mechanical equipment such as chillers, air compressors, pumps, and boilers.
• Collaborate with skilled trades, engineers, and manufacturing staff to complete work requests.
• Monitor Building Management System and respond to alarms.
• Assist with snow removal and maintain snow removal equipment.
• Participate in rotating 24‑hour emergency call‑in program.
• Assist with hazardous waste and recycling management.

• 3 to 5 years Facility Maintenance experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Basic industrial electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge.
• Ability to work overtime on special projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and rough sketches.
• Building Management System (BMS) experience preferred.
• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience preferred.

US Base Salary Range: $33.82 – $50.73 per hour.

Base pay is one part of our US total compensation package which includes eligibility in the Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan and comprehensive benefits package for regular employees working 20+ hours a week.
