Position Overview
Peabody Properties seeks a dynamic, experienced Leasing Consultant to effectively lease and market the community of the apartment community in Beverly, MA. The ideal applicant will work to achieve maximum occupancy stabilization and high customer satisfaction for new and current residents alike.
Responsibilities- Build a network of residents through community outreach, networking events, conducting applicant and family tours, and managing the database of referral sources and social media channels.
- Stay current with competitor offerings and drive qualified prospects to the community by analyzing competitive market data.
- Organize and facilitate resident events to promote a sense of community.
- Answer all calls promptly and courteously, referring to appropriate staff.
- Open incoming mail and distribute to appropriate staff.
- Accept orders for maintenance problems/repairs, complete work order forms, and forward to Service Manager for timely completion.
- Perform general office filing.
- Provide assistance and/or coverage at other sister sites within the company portfolio as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor or Senior Staff to facilitate effective site operations.
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years providing clerical and administrative support and proven leasing and/or marketing experience in conventional and affordable housing.
- Knowledgeable with respect to affordable housing programs, including federally‑assisted and all State and local housing regulations.
- Sales and personal interaction skills, strong organizational, problem‑solving and follow‑through abilities.
- Time‑management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Solid administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to take initiative and be self‑motivated.
- Excellent computer and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of ONEsite and proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Hourly rate ranges from $28.85 to $31.25, depending on experience, location, property size, and budget.
