Job Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team in the CSAC (Chip Scale Atomic Clock) department. The role involves assembly, testing, and inspection in a cleanroom environment. Microchip offers comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure you are fully equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assembly in a cleanroom environment.
- Operate semi-automated surface mount pick and place equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Experience with micro components and precision microscope work.
- Basic computer skills for logging data, reviewing documents, emailing, and online training sessions.
- Wire bonding and/or adhesive bonding experience helpful, but not required.
This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Pay RangeWe offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $22.50 - $35.00
