Job Description & How to Apply Below
Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Machining We’re looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a fast-moving CNC environment and enjoys turning complex parts into efficient, repeatable processes. In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in production, not just supporting it from the sidelines. You’ll work directly with machinists, quality, and engineering teams to improve setups, reduce cycle times, and solve real shop-floor problems.

If you like being close to the machines and seeing your work directly impact output and quality, this is a strong fit. What you’ll do Review part designs to ensure they can be efficiently manufactured to spec and cost targets Define fixtures, tooling, and gaging needed for new and existing components Create setup sheets, manufacturing sketches, and clear shop floor documentation Program CNC machines and support setup/start-up to ensure smooth production runs Troubleshoot machining issues and help resolve process or equipment problems on the floor Optimize feeds, speeds, and setups to improve cycle times while maintaining quality and tool life Work hands-on with CNC mills, lathes, and mill/turn equipment Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve flow and product consistency Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues Help train operators on processes, standards, and best practices What you bring 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within a CNC machining environment Strong background in CNC milling and turning (mill/turn experience is a plus) CAD/CAM experience and ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T Solid understanding of machining principles, work holding, and machine shop practices Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment in a production environment Strong shop math skills and comfort working through technical problem-solving on the floor Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and cross-functionally Why this role is worth a look You’ll be a key part of how parts actually get made.

This isn’t a desk-only engineering role. You’ll be in the shop, solving real issues, improving processes, and directly impacting quality, efficiency, and delivery performance. If you like CNC machining, problem-solving, and ownership of your work, this is a solid next step.
