Aerotek is Hiring for 2nd Shift Clean Room Assemblers
This role focuses on assembling neurosurgical sponges in a clean room environment using a thread and sewing needle. You follow detailed work instructions to perform highly repetitive tasks that require excellent hand dexterity and strong attention to detail to ensure consistent quality of medical devices produced on a production line.
Responsibilities- Assemble neurosurgical sponges in a clean room using a thread and sewing needle according to established procedures.
- Follow written work instructions and production guidelines with precision and consistency.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining high levels of focus and accuracy.
- Use hand tools and manual techniques to complete medical device assembly steps.
- Inspect assembled products visually to confirm quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation within the clean room environment.
- Adhere to all clean room protocols, including handling materials and equipment properly.
- Support general production activities on the medical device production line as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Report any issues with materials, tools, or work instructions to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Proven reliability and strong commitment to consistent attendance.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with sustained concentration and accuracy.
- Good hand dexterity for working with small components, thread, and sewing needles.
- Capability to follow detailed work instructions and standardized procedures.
- Comfort working in a clean room environment with medical devices.
- Basic experience in assembly, production, or similar hands-on work.
- Attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with medical device assembly or clean room production is beneficial.
- Familiarity with sewing or fine manual work using a sewing needle is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively on a production line and meet output goals.
- Willingness to learn and follow strict process and quality requirements.

WorkEnvironment
You work in a clean room medical device facility that follows strict cleanliness and handling protocols. The role is based on a Monday–Thursday schedule with four 10-hour shifts on second shift, from 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM. Work is primarily seated or at a workstation, using sewing needles, thread, and small hand tools to assemble products on a production line. The environment is controlled and process-driven, with clearly defined work instructions and procedures guiding each task.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
