Pay Rate: $21.00–$23.00/hr.
Location: Beverly, MA
Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM OR 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
6:00 AM is the earliest start time.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cable Assembler II to build and assemble cable products according to detailed drawings, specifications, and manufacturing instructions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on cable assembly and soldering experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with small components and hand tools.

Essential Functions

• Build cable assemblies according to drawings, specifications, work instructions, and engineering changes
• Measure and cut wire, cable, and inner and outer jackets to required lengths
• Perform wire termination and crimp terminals manually and using equipment
• Solder terminals, wires, pins, and plugs
• Inspect completed assemblies and repair rejected or nonconforming products
• Follow detailed manufacturing specifications and instructions
• Perform work accurately while maintaining quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of cable assembly or related manufacturing experience
• Hands-on soldering experience
• Ability to interpret detailed drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Mechanical aptitude
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Basic math skills, including the ability to measure in inches and fractions/increments of an inch
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills

• Experience with industry cable/wiring assembly standards or certifications
• Experience soldering wires and pins
• Previous cable build experience
• Experience working with crimping equipment

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive use of small hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to cut and handle cable up to 2 inches in diameter
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
