Now Hiring:
Senior Metrology Quality Technician - Direct Hire
Location: Beverly, MA
Pay: Up to $41.50 per hour (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities- Program and operate CMMs and vision systems to ensure product compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
- Apply advanced GD&T principles to inspect precision machined parts and assemblies
- Develop, validate, and troubleshoot CMM programs using part drawings and 3D models
- Perform first article inspections (FAIs), validation, and critical dimensional measurements using gauges, fixtures, and inspection tools
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering to ensure accurate setups, programs, and measurement processes
- Support tooling, fixture, and gauge development projects to improve inspection accuracy
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles
- Provide inspection support across departments and assist with resolving quality issues
- Train inspectors and technicians on metrology processes and inspection standards
- Maintain documentation and support ERP and quality system data accuracy
- Strong expertise in GD&T interpretation and application
- Hands‑on experience in manufacturing quality inspection of precision components
- Advanced CMM programming experience (CMM and/or vision systems)
- Proficiency with metrology tools, gauges, and inspection equipment
- Experience working in ERP or quality management systems
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
