About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Technician to support manufacturing quality operations through receiving, in-process, final, and First Article Inspections (FAIs). This role applies metrology and GD&T principles to inspect precision components, develop CMM programs, support quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with engineering drawings and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform receiving, in-process, final inspections, and First Article Inspections (FAIs)
  • Apply GD&T and metrology principles to verify product conformance
  • Create and utilize CMM programs from engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Support inspection activities using manual and automated measurement systems
  • Resolve quality-related issues and support operators, inspectors, and engineers
  • Train inspectors and technicians on inspection procedures and measurement equipment
  • Participate in tooling fixture, gauge, and quality improvement projects
  • Assist with development of inspection instructions and quality procedures
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and cost reduction initiatives
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 4+ years of manufacturing quality inspection experience
  • 4+ years of experience using inspection equipment and metrology tools
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Experience with CMM and Vision System operation
  • Experience inspecting precision machined components
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
