CMM Programmer

Location: Beverly, MA

Pay: $80-85k

Job Type: Full-Time

Advance Quality and Precision in Manufacturing

Are you an experienced CMM Programmer with a strong background in GD&T, metrology, and precision inspection
? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support new product development, quality assurance, and measurement system validation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, validate, and troubleshoot CMM and vision system programs using engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Perform dimensional inspections, First Article Inspections (FAIs), and measurement studies on precision components
  • Interpret and apply GD&T principles to ensure compliance with product specifications
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Inspection teams to support product quality initiatives
  • Perform critical measurements using gauges, fixtures, and precision inspection equipment
  • Support tooling, fixture, and gage development projects
  • Train inspectors and technicians on inspection methods and measurement systems
  • Drive continuous improvement and process efficiency initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles
Qualifications
  • Experience programming CMMs and working with metrology systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement techniques
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Experience performing mechanical inspections on precision-machined components
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment, quality systems, and ERP software
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
