Research Associate I​/II; Cell Banking & Microbiology

• Support the end-to-end management of cryopreserved biological assets, including master and working cell banks, host strains, and related materials.
• Conduct QC testing on cell banks in both GMP and non-GMP settings, assessing parameters such as identity, purity, sterility, and viability.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation to ensure traceability of engineered cell lines and associated source information.
• Partner with development scientists to support strain engineering, cloning, and characterization efforts.
• Prepare and maintain competent
  
  E. coli strains for internal R&D applications. Generate, review, and update technical documents including SOPs, batch records, and study reports.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across process development, analytics, and manufacturing.
• Support additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to meet evolving project and operational demands.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, including qPCR, DNA sequencing, cloning, and plasmid preparation.
• Familiarity with cell banking practices and QC testing in a regulated (GMP) environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and data integrity.
