As a Seasonal Cabana Cafe & Pool Server at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $22.50 per hour.

A day in the life of our Seasonal Cabana Cafe & Pool Servers … it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Seasonal Server accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

• Our Seasonal Cabana Cafe & Pool Servers are responsible for describing the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods during their day. This will include; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinate food timings;
  
  check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving substitutions due to dietary restrictions, a specific lifestyle such as vegan or allergies and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Seasonal Cabana Cafe & Pool Servers.
• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Seasonal Cabana Cafe & Pool Servers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Seasonal Servers must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Frequent use of computer keyboard (fingering) and computer mouse, near and far acuity (vision), hearing, and talking. The outlet is outdoors so exposure to sun is required, however, the host stand is shaded and sun block is provided. As a seasonal property, long hours during peak periods sometimes required.
