Food Service Worker - Retail Per Diem

This is a per diem food services worker position in our Starbucks location at Beverly Hospital.

Reporting to the Café Supervisor, the Barista is responsible for:

• Taking customer orders for pastry, snacks, and Grab and Go items.
• Preparing coffee and specialty drinks.
• Reheating and serving pre-made sandwiches.
• Ringing up orders, handling cash and credit card transactions, and managing their cash drawer at the start and end of shifts.
• Opening or closing Starbucks, based on shift, including set-up or clean-up.
• Providing excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service independently in a busy environment.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work station at all times.
• Assisting with storage, stocking, rotation, and maintenance of products and equipment.
• Following all company policies and procedures.
• Completing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to stand all day with frequent bending and twisting.
