Job Description

This coach is responsible for leading a comprehensive interscholastic outdoor track and field program that promotes athletic development, sportsmanship, and student-athlete growth. The coach will oversee all aspects of the program while ensuring compliance with school, district, league, and MIAA regulations.

Job Requirements

Previous track experience is desirable.
Previous track experience in either high school, college or both is desirable.
Knowledge of track and its rules, and ability to instruct players in all facets of the sport.
Evidence of ability to get along with pupils, parents, colleagues and other citizens.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred.
Must have proof of MIAA coaching certification. If not currently MIAA coaching certified, must obtain within two years of hire.
