Microchip is seeking a reliable and safety-minded Box Truck Driver/Material Handler that is committed to providing exceptional transport, delivery and customer service. This role will primarily involve transportation but also includes material handling and inventory management functions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a 20-foot box truck to transport products and materials, including hazardous materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete required documentation.
• Follow delivery schedules and communicate timely regarding any issues.
• Load/unload material from truck and move materials within warehouse, storage, or production areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle/work environment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.
• Complete other projects, duties, or cross-training as assigned.

Requirements/

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in driving, warehousing, shipping, receiving, or distribution (including knowledge of UPS and Fed Ex online shipping systems).
• Valid Class C driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving in inclement weather conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50+ lbs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adhere to schedules, follow instructions, and work independently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• US Person (ITAR requirement).

Travel Time: 75% - 100%

Physical Requirements: 75% sitting, 15% standing, 10% walking. 80% inside, 20% outside.

Pay Range: $16.83-$41.83 per hour (U.S. position). Additional compensation includes competitive base pay, restricted stock units, quarterly bonuses, health benefits, retirement savings plans, and ESPP.

Candidates must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or classification as a protected individual. This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
