Night Support Assistant

About the Role

Are you a kind, caring, and reliable person who enjoys supporting young people? We are looking for a Night Support Assistant to join our dedicated residential team in Bexhill. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

As a Night Support Assistant, you will play a key role in providing overnight care and support for pupils and students aged 5-19 within our residential setting. You’ll help ensure their wellbeing, comfort, and safety throughout the night, offering reassurance and practical support as needed.

• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care during night hours.
• Support pupils/students with bedtime and morning routines.
• Monitor and record individual needs in line with care plans.
• Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow safeguarding policies.

Essential qualification:
Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

The Night Support Assistant will work 22 hours per week, across two nights (10:00 pm‑9:00 am), Sunday to Thursday, term time only.
