My client is currently recruiting for a well‑established early year setting in Erith, Bexley, committed to delivering high‑quality childcare and education within a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced nursery practitioner or an ambitious nursery practitioner looking to progress into a lead role.

• 1 x Level 2/3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Salary: £28,362
• 1 x Level 3 Qualified Lead Nursery Practitioner – Salary: £29,527 – £29,672

The Lead Early Years Educator role is suited to a confident nursery practitioner with leadership experience who can support the management team in leading best practice across the setting. The Lead nursery practitioner will take responsibility for curriculum planning, staff guidance and EYFS compliance.

• Act as a key person to a group of children
• Lead and support curriculum planning in line with EYFS
• Support, mentor and guide Early Years Educators and Assistants
• Monitor children's development through observations and assessments
• Promote safeguarding, inclusion and best practice
• Build effective partnerships with parents and carers
• Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
• Post‑qualification experience as a nursery gezinnen practitioner
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
• Experience supporting or supervising staff
• Good communication and organisational skills

This position is ideal for a dedicated nursery practitioner who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing within a stimulating and safe environment. The nursery practitioner will work collaboratively with the team to deliver high‑quality early years provision.

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
