Mobile Generator Engineer

Our Prestigious client is urgently seeking a skilled and dependable Generator Engineer to join their existing service team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on standby generators and will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of generators at customer sites. Our client installs and maintains generators up 2500kva.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on standby generators

* Diagnose faults and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner

* Complete site reports and documentation to a high standard

* Liaise with customers to provide excellent service and support

* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

* Assist with installations and commissioning where required

* Participate in an on-call rota for emergency support

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience servicing and maintaining diesel generators (whether within the standby or rental sector)

* Experience of working on large generators (standby power)

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Take part in the company on-call rota - 1 in 8 weeks
