If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician who wants good money, sensible hours and the kind of working environment you don't always get in a main dealer, this could be a very good move.
This established independent garage is looking for a strong all-round technician to join the workshop. You'll be trusted to get on with the job, work on a varied range of vehicles and use your experience across everything from diagnostics and fault-finding through to major mechanical repairs and cambelts.
The salary is already £40,000–£48,000, with the potential to earn more for someone who has a lot to offer. Combine that with Monday to Friday working and no weekends, and you've got a package that's hard to ignore.
Responsibilities
* Vehicle diagnostics and electrical fault-finding.
* General mechanical repairs and servicing.
* Cambelts, clutches and other major mechanical work.
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard.
* Working independently across a varied workshop workload.
Requirements
* Strong experience as a Vehicle Technician.
* Confident carrying out diagnostics and fault-finding.
* Good mechanical repair skills.
* Experience with cambelts and major repairs.
* Able to work independently and take pride in your workmanship.
* A genuine all-rounder who can tackle a varied range of jobs.
Salary and Benefits
* £40,000–£48,000 basic salary (potentially more)
* Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm
* No weekend working
* 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays
* Sickness bonus
