Direct Support Professional (DSP)
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the highest levels of care and consideration for our clients and the community we support. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team!
PositionWe currently have two positions open. Both are awake shifts.
POSITION 1 — Overnight, Full-TimeLocation:
Bexley area
Compensation:
- HPC (Homemaker/Personal Care): $17.00 – $17.50 per hour
- On-Site/On-Call: $11.00 – $12.00 per hour
This position includes both HPC and On-Site/On-Call hours. The specific breakdown of which hours fall under each rate will be reviewed with you during the interview.
Schedule:
- Monday: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM Tuesday (10 hours)
- Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM Wednesday (10 hours)
- Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Friday (8 hours)
- Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Saturday (8 hours)
- Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Sunday (8 hours)
Location:
Westerville area
Compensation:
- HPC (Homemaker/Personal Care): $17.00 – $17.50 per hour
Schedule (every other weekend) — awake shifts:
- Saturday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (6 hours)
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8 hours)
Additional PRN hours may be available for team members who want them.
Requirements (Must Have)- Medication Administration Certification (Med Cert
1) — must have a current Med Cert number and be able to pass meds - Current CPR & First Aid certification
- Completion of the initial DODD 8-hour Direct Support Professional training
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs
- Continued
Education:
Completion of state-mandated DODD 8-hour annual training and re-certification

- Perform every task with consideration and care for the complete individual, supporting a healthy and meaningful life.
- Provide personal care support (hygiene, ambulation, routines).
- Perform housekeeping duties: cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes, errands.
- Provide companionship and support during periods of increased need.
- Perform health-related tasks (vitals, medication administration) under appropriate direction.
- Plan, shop for, and/or prepare nutritious meals.
- Transport clients to appointments and community outings as needed.
- Coach clients on hygiene, household cleanliness, nutrition, and daily living skills.
- Complete accurate electronic visit verification (EVV) clock-in and clock-out for every shift.
- Prepare and maintain accurate service documentation and progress notes.
- Meet weekly reporting compliance on client goals, health, and well-being.
- Additional duties as assigned.
