Legal & Compliance Officer

Looking for an experienced  Legal & Compliance professional  with strong exposure to  import/export regulations, FEMA, DGFT, and capital markets compliance  to join a fast-growing organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with import/export laws, DGFT regulations, customs requirements, and applicable trade policies

• Manage Advance Authorizations, EPCG schemes, and other export incentive structures

• Handle FEMA compliances including inbound and outbound foreign exchange transactions

• Manage Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) structures, approvals, filings, and RBI reporting

• Oversee IPO-related legal and regulatory compliances, including SEBI regulations and stock exchange requirements

• Coordinate with merchant bankers, legal advisors, auditors, regulators, and statutory authorities

• Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation

• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, corporate governance norms, and statutory filings

• Identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation frameworks and internal SOPs

• Track regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation across the organization.

Candidates with strong regulatory exposure and experience in manufacturing/export-oriented environments preferred.
