Position Summary
We are seeking a Special Education Early Intervention Secretary. The start date is August 18, 2025 (School Year Position) and the location is Biddeford High School, serving grades 8-12.
Responsibilities- Maintain a professional atmosphere and orderly work environment.
- Greet visitors, staff, and students, and provide assistance as needed.
- Perform office tasks: attendance, telephone handling, messages, directions, interoffice mail distribution, reports, memos, records management, agendas, typing, copying, and other clerical duties.
- Schedule appointments, manage clerical duties for office staff, and maintain documents.
- Oversee mail system and office equipment usage.
- Coordinate communication related to phones, visitors, and electronic communications.
- Support Student Services and administrative staff with the management data system.
- Monitor and enter attendance.
- Coordinate substitute teachers daily in conjunction with Substitute Coordinator.
- Supervise building entry and monitor student exits and entries.
- Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Previous clerical training and/or business experience, including use of Google Workspace, Infinite Campus, and ability to learn various systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
