Pay Range: $20–$26/hour (based on experience)

Jim's Auto Repair is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Shop Helper. No professional automotive experience is required—we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in the automotive repair industry.

Consistent hours:
Mon.–Thu. 8:00–5:00, Fri. 8:00-Noon, WEEKENDS OFF!

Overtime available upon request.

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance
• Rotate and install tires
• Check and maintain fluid levels on vehicles
• Replace wiper blades, air filters, and light bulbs
• Keep the shop clean and organized
• Assist technicians with vehicle repairs
• Pick up parts and help move vehicles
• Learn basic automotive repair and maintenance procedures
• Willingness to acquire Maine State Inspection License Class A and E

• Valid driver's license
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Basic mechanical knowledge preferred but not required
• Automotive school or previous shop experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual

• Competitive starting pay: $20–$26/hour (based on experience)
